1. Create an account at www.turnitin.com by going to http://www.turnitin.com/login_page.asp and click on Create a User Profile under "New students start here." Note: if you used turnitin before, you can login with your email address and password.
2. Enroll using the class id 2896012 with the enrollment password given in class.
3. After logging in as a student, you will have a list of classes with COS301. If you have used turnitin before, you may see other classes.
4. Clicking COS301 will bring up a list of assignments. Next to each assignment is an upload button. Click to submit your paper.
Notes:
File types accepted are MS Word .doc (the site does NOT mention Word 2007 .docx); WordPerfect .wpd; Postscript .eps, Adobe .pdf, HTML .htm, Rich Text Format .rtf and plain text (.txt). Papers can also be submitted by copy and paste.
Files are limited to 20MB in size and one file per student per assignment.
